Link Tech ("we", "our", or "us") operates the platform available at linktech.co.zw. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our services, including our integrations with Facebook and WhatsApp.
1. Information We Collect
We collect the following types of information:
- Account information: Name, email address, and password when you register.
- Profile data: Role, subscription plan, and account settings.
- WhatsApp data: Message logs (stored encrypted), session information, and contact details from your connected WhatsApp accounts.
- Facebook data: When you connect your Facebook account via OAuth, we access your public profile, managed pages, and page access tokens to enable posting features. We do not access your private messages.
- Payment information: Transaction amounts and payment status. We do not store card numbers or banking credentials.
- Usage data: Log data, IP addresses, and feature usage for security and analytics.
2. How We Use Your Information
- To provide and operate the Link Tech platform and its features.
- To post content to your connected Facebook Pages on your behalf.
- To enable AI-powered WhatsApp auto-responses on your connected accounts.
- To process payments and manage your subscription.
- To send service-related notifications and support communications.
- To detect and prevent fraud, abuse, and security incidents.
3. Facebook Data
We integrate with the Facebook Graph API to allow you to manage and post to your Facebook Pages. Specifically:
- We request the
pages_manage_posts, pages_read_engagement, and pages_show_list permissions.
- Your Facebook access tokens are stored securely and used only to perform actions you explicitly request.
- We do not sell, share, or use your Facebook data for advertising or profiling.
- You can revoke our app's access at any time via your Facebook App Settings.
4. Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal data. We may share data with:
- Supabase: Our database and authentication provider.
- OpenAI / Groq: For AI response generation and voice transcription. Only message content is shared, never personal identifiers.
- Facebook: As required to perform posting actions on your behalf.
- Law enforcement: If required by applicable law or legal process.
5. Data Retention
We retain your data for as long as your account is active. WhatsApp message logs are stored encrypted. You may request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us. Facebook access tokens are deleted when you disconnect your Facebook account.
6. Security
We implement industry-standard security measures including:
- End-to-end encryption for WhatsApp message storage.
- Secure HTTPS connections for all data transmission.
- Short-lived OAuth tokens exchanged for long-lived tokens stored securely server-side.
- Role-based access controls and audit logging.
7. Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you.
- Request correction or deletion of your data.
- Withdraw consent and disconnect third-party integrations at any time.
- Lodge a complaint with a relevant data protection authority.
8. Cookies
We use session cookies for authentication purposes only. We do not use tracking or advertising cookies.
9. Children's Privacy
Our services are not directed to individuals under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify users of significant changes by posting a notice on our platform. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
